Exclusive: “I’ve never bought a Valentine’s gift for any man since then” Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo tells Diamond Celebrities

Diamond Celebrities went on a journey of discovery, lol.  Nollywood Stars talked about the craziest thing they did during Valentine.

Is no more Valentine season, so we decided to call this, ‘Teenage Madness!

Valentine’s Day is a day of love and romance for some, a day of chocolate and cards for others, but for many, it is a day of bitter desperation and longing.

During Valentine’s Day, teenagers do a lot of crazy things; but guess what? Nollywood Stars have been there too.

Today Uche Ogbodo talked about her Valentine’s drama and disappointment with Delia Innoma, except:

“Some time ago, I thought I was in love with some guy. On one Valentine’s Day, I took all the money I had at that time to buy some stuff I wanted to give him, but on getting to his house, I saw that he already had some presents from another person, definitely a girl.  Out of shame I couldn’t bring out my little gifts: ‘tiny pink side clock, a Valentine picture frame, a Val card and a 3 in 1 Singlets pack’, which was all I could afford at that time. But the girl in question gave him some amazing gifts that cost a lot more than mine, I felt so bad

Realizing that he had someone else, and to top it all, the girl’s gifts were bigger than mine. I felt so sad the rest of the day. I shouldn’t have bothered buying any presents with my life saving at the time! I cried home!

Well Delia, this is my true life Story and I was a teenager. I’m not having a pity part. I am just as happy (if not happier) now that I celebrate with my family and love ones.  “It won’t happen to me again. I’ve never  bought any man Valentine’s gift till date, even now that I can afford bigger gift.”
