Recently in an interview, Chelsea star Mikel Obi disclosed why he has not gotten married. According to him “it’s difficult finding someone who will love you for who you are and not for what you are.
Diamond Celebrities decided to ask other stars what they think.
Believe it or not, he is not the only one wearing the same shoes.
Our question of the week on ‘Ask Celebs’ is:” Why are Celebrities finding it difficult to find true love?

Nollywood Actor and ex-AGN president, Segun Arinze: “It’s difficult. You don’t know who loves you for real. Anyone can find a girlfriend but real wives are rare. You can’t tell who loves you for real. Some love for different reasons. You need to look deep and pray to God.
Nollywod Actor Kelvin Ikeduba: Na so we see am noo, (laughed) and the thing is affecting us badly.
I guess it’s about trust, the ladies hardly trust celebs because of the fame. And they will expect you as a celeb to trust them.
Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo: To me I advise one should always search and find real love before one becomes Celeb! Because if you haven’t yet found real love with one special person, it is always confusing and too difficult to know it when you are already a Star… My reason being that, as a no-body when real love comes, it comes in single form (one person), but as a Star when it comes, it comes in quantum (10-20 people) and they claim to love you unconditionally and that is real trouble, because then you only want one true love but u end up having many confused lovers who do not know why they love you, then you can’t really tell who loves you for you or for what you have become..
Nollywood Actor and producer Sylvester Madu: (laughed) To me is not. It all depends on what you as an individual define to be a true love. If there is true love that means there is false love.

Never! I don’t have fears. In God there is no fear and in him you find true love. For anyone that is searching for true love, I will advice “he should be a Christian, learn and do word of God, and then will discover what true love really is.
Nollywood Actor Daniel Lloyd: It’s really hard to find true love as a celeb because people don’t trust our kind of job and love comes with a lot of trust. As a Celeb you don’t know who loves you for you or for the fame and your money. On the other hand, girls don’t want to love because they can’t trust Celebs with other girls knowing they are always in the eyes of the public and media. So I believe is both sides.

Eliminate doubts give your life to God and I promise you will love and beloved. if I speak in the tongues of men and engels but have no love I am only a resounnding gong or clanging cymbal, if I have gift of prophecy and I have a faith that can move mountains but I have no love then I am nothing but 0% Celebs give your life to Christ you will fear nothing to love again and i promise you will be loved. You know in God it doensn’t matter whether wedding bands are made of diamonds, gold, silver, copper or brass, their significance is not in monetary value, but in what they represent make a covenant with Jesus first before you can deside anything in your life put Him first I promise will see His honour in your love life.
