Formula One Driver Maria de Villota Dies

Formula One driver Maria de Villota was found dead in a Seville hotel room.

According to Spanish police, her body was discovered in the Hotel Sevilla Congresses this morning and she had died ‘apparently from natural causes. An autopsy is due to be carried out on the 33-year-old today.

De Villota, daughter of ex-Formula 1 driver Emilio, was reported to have been in Seville to launch her autobiography Life Is A Gift, which was to be released on Monday. she died just 15 months after she lost an eye in a horror crash.
