12 dead In A three (3) Vehicle Crash In Imo State

12 people were killed in a tragedy accident on thursday, 10th October, as three vehicle were involved in a series of crashes at Port Harcourt road leading to Owerri main town.

According to an eye witness, a truck carrying container which contains PVC ceilings fell on top of a Volvo with 7 passengers on board as the Volvo wanted to overtake it.

A Tipper driver who was coming from behind saw the scene and applied automatic brake, a high-speed Toyota Dyna truck collided with the Tipper and caused the Tipper to jump culvert .

The accident left 4 people dead instantly, nine were taken to Federal Medical Center (FMC hospital)  but were pronounced dead on arrival.
