Yvonne Ogbogu popularly known as Storm Rex is no doubt the hottest female Artiste in Nigeria. Her unique flow and style especially in the use of her local dialect has made her outstanding among other female Artistes in Nigeria. She has so many hit tracks to her credit and has also worked with Artistes like Flavour, Iyanya, Timaya, Dekumzy, Bracket, Nani Boi, Lynxx, Young D, Meaku among others. The ‘kererenke’ crooner was the lead vocalist in the ever best rated Naija female artistes group – THE DESPERATE CHICKS. DC: Tell us the story behind your stage name?
StormRex: It was suggested to me by ma brother,I chose (storm-rex) because it’s a perfect combination for me, storm meaning someone that has rapid success with people not just stormy weather and Rex meaning someone on top, a king or queen. So you see, it’s just perfect.lol
DC: What is music to you?
StormRex: To me music is a completion of life, it’s beautiful, spiritual, amazing. It’s a food for the soul. Life would be so incomplete without it.
DC: Apart from music what else do you do?
StormRex: Apart from music,am looking towards doing my masters, I’m graduate of biochemistry though, done with NYSC. But at the moment I want to give this music of mine an undivided attention for sometime let me see how it goes because it has really not been easy merging the two careers (education and music) 
DC: One thing people don’t know about you?
StomRex: What people don’t know about me is that I’m a very sensitive, God-fearing and a very honest person, though this world is a very rough and tough place, if you want to cope with it, you have to put on your tough shell too when the need arises so you don’t get smeared. lol
DC: What will you do with 5 million Dollars if you win it in a Lotto?
StormRex: Lotto!? Lmao! first of all I don’t ever see myself playing lotto, no way! But assuming! With reference to your question, I’ll build a hospital, build a nursery, primary and secondary school and then I’ll take time to visit the less privileged and ‘some’ orphanage homes in Nigeria and give them my utmost support.
