AFROBEAT LEGEND FEMI KUTI NOMINATED FOR GRAMMYS FOR THE 4TH TIME

The king of afrobeat Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti the eldest son of afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti popularly known as Femi Kuti has been nominated for the prestigious Grammy Awards for the 4th time.

His 2013 album ‘No Place For My Dream’ was nominated for the 2014 Grammy Awards in the ‘‘Best World Music Album’’ category. Femi will be facing such contenders in the likes of Indian musician Ravi Shankar, French group Gipsy Kings and South African group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

This will also mark the 4th time the Afrobeat legends will be nominated in the Grammy’s nomination and we pray he brings it home this time around
