Omotola is mad her daughter is referred to as ‘Hot and Sexy’

Earlier this week, Meraiah Ekeinde, 14-year-old daughter of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde became the most popular sibling in the Ekeinde family as her Instagram photos hit the blogs.

The Nollywood actress says she and her husband are horrified as parents and guardian that their daughter’s picture can be paraded online as ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’.

Meraiah Ekeinde who runs the account @miiimiii_e on Instagram but hasn’t posted a photo since August 2013 is quite the active on the social network. Just like any 14-year-old girl, she posts fun pictures of herself and friends.

Omotola also says it is wrong for the media to access her daughter’s private account and post her pictures on their respective platforms for ‘public viewing’.

‘Thank you to everyone who wished Meraiah a happy birthday. However, going to a 14 year old’s “private” online accts to post her pictures for public viewing is totally Inappropriate . Her father and I are horrified as parents and guardian that a minor’s picture can be paraded online as hot” ,”sexy” etc.’, she wrote on her official Facebook page.

It should however be noted that Meraiah Ekeinde’s Instagram page wasn’t set to private until 24 hours ago. Her Twitter was the only private account.

The Nollywood actress who turned 36 this February also says the bloggers should be aware ‘the world is filled with paedophiles and sickos’ and should know where to draw the line when it comes to posting on their platforms.
