Will Smith’s daughter Willow Opens Up About Why She Turned Down ‘Annie’ Role

The 13-year-old actress/singer recently opened up about why she turned down the title role in the upcoming film adaptation of Annie.

“I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have,” Willow told V Magazine (via E! News). “I just feel like I want to do it different than the world’s ready for.”

She added, “I’m enjoying just being independent and doing my own thing.”

Looks like she’s doing it right though…. nice girl!!!
