Nigerian Actors call for sack of heads of two govt agencies

The Actors Guild of Nigeria, yesterday, called for the sack of the Directors General of Nigeria Film Corporation, NFC,  and National Films and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, saying they lacked the passion to perform.

President of the Guild, Ibinabo Fiberesima, who  led members of her executive on a solidarity and courtesy visit to President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, said the two regulatory agencies needed more purposeful leadership.

“Nollywood is in dire need of purposeful, practical, dynamic and experienced leadership at the helms of affairs of the two regulatory agencies, whose functions border on our industry, that is, NFC and NFVCB,” she said.
