It was a star-studded event on Saturday, 22^nd Feb, as Black Hollywood celebrated 45^th NAACP Image Awards, at Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Pasadena.

Oprah Winfrey Tyler Perry, Stevie Wonder, Forrest Whitaker, NAACP Interim President and CEO Lorraine C. Miller, Victor Olatoye and others attended. The highlight of the day was the touching tribute to Nelson Mandela by Oprah and Stevie Wonders.

45^th NAACP Image Awards, recognized as the preeminent multi-cultural awards show –  from an African-American point of view.  The NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier multi-cultural awards show.  The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (television, recording, literature, motion picture and writing & directing), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.
