Nollywood Director Teco Benson Adds Another Year, Celebrates Within The Family Circle

The talented director told Diamond Celebrities, his birthday bash was nothing elaborate but a quite celebration within the family circle. The Anambra born director wished himself: “Strength to carry on! God’s grace! Long life! Wisdom and proper direction!!!

Teco Benson came into the movie industry in 1994 as an actor. He later ventured into script writing; editing and directing in 1997.He had a first degree in Public Health, and a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies. Part of the federal government delegation via the Nigerian Film Corporation, he represented Nollywood in Ghana in 2005, as well as being a part of the five-man delegation that represented Nigeria at the 32nd Cairo International Film Festival. In 2006, his movie Explosion was chosen to represent Nollywood in Israel.
