Obesere set to shoot movie on rape scandal

The last has not been heard about the rape scandal involving fuji musician, Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere.

Even as so many people have criticised the singer based on the allegation levelled against him by one Nike, Obesere, who had at different fora, denied the allegation, said he was set to shoot a movie concerning the episode.

We learnt that Obesere had written a script about rape and he is currently shopping for artistes who will fit into the characters. It is not yet certain if the musician will be starring in the movie, but it seems prominent artistes in the industry would take the lead in the movie and the project would cost about N20m.

Obesere’s publicist, Deola Adeoti, said, “The movie is targeted at unravelling the mystery behind the rape scandal. A whole lot of things have been said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will tell the world the plain truth. Apart from his own experience, Obesere is aware of some men who had been blackmailed with this same scandal and he felt that it was high time he exposed some of these women of evil.”
