President Obama reacts to Donald Sterling’s racist comments (Video)

Obama said Sterling’s comments are an example of how “the United States continues to wrestle with the legacy of race and slavery and segregation.”

The President also went on to say “That’s still there, the vestiges of discrimination. We’ve made enormous strides, but you’re going to continue to see this percolate up every so often.”

Obama — who called Sterling’s remarks “incredibly offensive” — said he’s confident NBA Commish Adam Silver will do the right thing.
