Nollywood Movies Awards (NMA) calls for entries

Organizers of Nollywood Movies Awards are getting ready to reward our hardworking practitioners, the yearly award ceremony has been scheduled to take place on the 18th of October 2014.

Organizers of the prestigious  Nollywood Movies Awards (NMA) are set to hold its third edition of the award this year. NMA is currently  calling for entries from industry stakeholders.

The 2014 edition has it’s theme as ‘100 percent Nollywood,’.  Interested stakeholders are required to send in their  English and Nigerian indigenous language movies produced, released or premiered between February 1, 2013, and April 31, 2014 for consideration.

The ceremony has been Scheduled to hold on the October 18, 2014 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, deadline for all films submissions has been put at July 15, 2014 while nominations will be announced in August 2014.

The following categories are being considered. Best Movie, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Diaspora Movie, Best Film in an Indigenous Nigerian Language, Best Lead Actor in an Indigenous Language, Best Lead Actress in an Indigenous Language, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Director, Most Popular Actress, Most Popular Actor, Top Box Office (Nigeria), Best Make-up Design, Best Costume Design, Best Set Design, Best Music Soundtrack, Best Rising Star (Male), Best Rising Star, Female, Best Child Actor, Best Short Film.
