Police Arraign Pastor For Raping Married Woman

Officers of the Edo State Police Command on Friday arraigned one pastor, Samson Odeyemi, before an Iguobazuwa Magistrate Court for raping a married woman.

James, the police prosecutor told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 14 when he took the married woman to a river for spiritual cleansing.

James said the woman went to the pastor to seek spiritual healing because she was having spiritual attacks.

The prosecutor said the pastor reportedly asked the married woman to take off her clothes for prayers, and afterwards forcefully had canal knowledge of her…
