Chief Mike Kwentoh, the Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has said not less than 141 nomination forms had been sold by the party since it commenced sales on Oct. 27.
Kwentoh told the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview on Monday that the forms were sold to candidates vying for elective positions under the umbrella of APGA.
NAN reports that Chief Victor Umeh, the national chairman of the party, and Chief Ernest Ndukwe, former Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Communications Commission, are among those that had bought the forms.
Others include ; Chief Dubem Obaze, a former commissioner for Local Government Affairs and Chieftaincy Matters, and Chief Patrick Obianwu, a former gubernatorial aspirant.
NAN reports that there are three Senatorial, 11 Federal House of Representatives and 30 House of Assembly seats, to be vied for by political aspirants in the 2015 general elections.
He said that the sale of forms by the party would end on Nov. 4 , adding that the closing date could be extended if there were appeals by aspirants.
