Hospital sources have said at least 48 persons were killed in the blast that occurred at Government Science School, Potiskum, this Monday morning and were brought to the mortuary, while 79 were brought in injured.
Potiskum, the commercial town of Yobe state, Northeastern Nigeria, has was thrown into pandemonium as many parents beseeched schools in the town to pick their children back home following the bomb blast.
It was also gathered that the blast occurred during the early morning assembly.
Though no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is believed to be from the terrorist group, Boko Haram…
