Police uncover arms factory in Enugu

Men of the Enugu State Command of Nigeria Police have uncovered an illegal arms factory in the State where guns were allegedly manufactured.

The discovery was made, following the arrest of an alleged gun manufacturer, Foster Ezeanure, by operatives of Oji River Area Command through information obtained from members of the public.

The suspect who hails from Enugu-Akwu Achi in Oji River LG reportedly specialized in the manufacturing of arms and selling them to hoodlums from both the state and its environs as well as servicing the arms for them

Police spokesman in Enugu State, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ebere Amaraizu who confirmed this report in a statement on Wednesday, said the suspect was already helping the police with investigation on the matter.
