Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked his Real Madrid team-mates for being amazing by handing them a £6,500 watch each.

The World Player of the Year, who has had a successful 2014, scoring 61 goals in 58 games for club and country, gave his team-mates an early Christmas present before their win against Almeria on Friday night – a result that took their winning streak to an incredible 20 games.

The Bulgari watches were inscribed with each of the player’s names as well as ‘CR7’ and the words ‘La Decima’ – commemorating Real’s 10th European Cup win this summer.

First to proudly show off his new pressie was Alvaro Arbeloa who posted a pic of the watch and a pic of a smiling Ronny on Instagram.

Now, all they have to do is pay him back by helping him win La Liga and Champions League again.
