No charges against Bill Cosby over claims he molested 15-year-old girl

Comedian Bill Cosby will not be charged over claims he attacked a 15-year-old girl 40 years ago, the Los Angeles district attorney has announced.

Alleged victim Judy Huth, from California, claimed the comic forced her to perform a sex act in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion in around 1974 when she was underage.

Cosby’s lawyer Martin Singer accused Ms Huth of extortion and said she had attempted to sell her story to a tabloid 10 years ago.

The Los Angeles district attorney has now decided the claim is too old and surpasses the state’s statute of limitations.
