Manchester United ‘clear to seal Cristiano Ronaldo transfer as Real Madrid agree to sell’

Man United 'clear to sign £180m star as club AGREE to sell'

Manchester United have been cleared to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season with Real Madrid set to sell.

United are keen on bringing Ronaldo back to Old Trafford in the summer, andplan to use their chunk of the Premier League’s new TV money to finance the switch.

Madrid were thought to be against the idea of a deal, but the Daily Star quotes reports in Spain which say the Champions League winners are now willing to sell Ronaldo.

The 30-year-old, who is rated at £180million, has fallen out with senior management at Madrid and a transfer now looks to be on the cards.

Ronaldo has scored 288 goals in 279 games for Madrid.
