Actress and producer Yvonne Nelson has stated that she is a secondary virgin and would want to concentrate more on her career this year…
Yvonne said this in an interview with KSM on the KSM’s Show on Metro TV,
“This year I’m a secondary virgin I’m just trying to concentrate on my career. I’m not in a rush; I don’t want to marry today and divorce tomorrow because it happens a lot in the industry. Marriage is a beautiful thing but it has to be right. I don’t want to let my mom down, I want to make her and myself happy”, she said.
“Most Ghanaian and Nigerian men are intimidated; most often when it’s age appropriate; then they think I’m doing better than them and that I’m going to be bossy and control them around. Those around my age are bothered that I’m an independent lady. That has always been the problem”.
“There was about two guys who got scared. But I really don’t mind. Middle of last year, I was trying out something and I wasn’t convinced so I backed off. It had to do with the man not being matured enough” she explained.

Agree
Well that has been the fear of men who are insecure about themselves, because a woman is doing fine in business, or because a woman has achieved most of her goals in life, whereby she is now famous, popular, rich. so they think by that achievement of hers, means she has forgotten how things works in her homeland. Men who think like that, are men of no competence who has no positive thoughts about themselves or who they are. Men who are not capable of defending themselves… But all the same i pray you find your own man soon enough… they will come for you not you going for them… stay put mydear and keep believing in God for a better result…. GOOD LUCK!!!
@Sononwalker very correct. those are Men who are still living with the visions of our great grandfathers; Women are meant to be independent regardless of the fact that in our culture, majority of men has the biggest part to play when it comes to responsibilities. But they should also know that these days, it doesn’t work that way anymore. if they read deep about life they will understand that these days women are also oblige to do most of the spending. they assist their husband with funds and give them a helping hand in terms of expanding their business. i believe these happens due to the greediness, and corrupt mind of we Africans
@sonowalker… definately right
