Nigeria Decides: Obama expresses fear, sends delegate to monitor polls

The United States president, Barrack Obama, has sent a strong delegate to Nigeria to monitor the Saturday’s presidential election.

Report available to Daily Post has it that the US number one citizen has directed the Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield to join those monitoring activities of tomorrow’s elections.

According to a media note made available to Journalists by the Office of the Spokesperson of the United States Department on Friday, Ms Thomas- Greenfield, Obama is worried over the likely outcome of the Saturday’s elections.
Thomas- Greenfield, according to the note is expected to arrive Nigeria on Saturday, and will be leading the US official diplomatic observation mission for the elections.
Thomas-Greenfield will also hold high-level bilateral meetings with Nigerian officials while in Abuja, the media note had confirmed.
