“I have made some mistakes in my life”, Tiwa Savage talks about unprotected sex

Tiwa Savage, during her Ugandan tour, took time out to speak at Mariam High School in Kampala, Uganda.

While addressing the girls, a heavily pregnant Tiwa narrated her views on early sex:

“I have made some mistakes in my life but the beautiful thing about making a mistake is that you have to dust yourself and get up. Having unprotected sex can give you sexually transmitted diseases that there is no cure for.

I was a little girl like you when I made mistakes too but God changed my story and if he can do it for me, trust me, trust him he can do it for you too. Life is about planning ahead, so if you as a young person do not plan for parenthood, you will always be dependent on other people and unable to break out of the cycle of poverty. It is not good to keep on being helpless – we have to take responsibility for our lives.”  She said.
