Heartbroken Bobby Brown has spoken for the first time about his daughter Bobbi-Kristina’s fight for life, admitting: “I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”
The singer made his first public appearance since the 22-year-old was found unconscious in her bath tub on January 31 on Saturday at a festival in Los Angeles.
Bobby, 46, who has been at his beloved daughter’s bedside ever since she fell ill, also thanked the crowd for their support as she fights for her life.
During his performance, in which he sang songs including his 1988 hit Every Little Step I Take, he stopped to say: “I must tell you all, this feels really, really good.
“I want to thank you all for coming tonight and supporting me and my family.
“Rough times are rough times, and hard times are hard times.
“I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now but I’m giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”
Dressed in a grey suit and matching hat, a visibly emotional Bobby, who flew by private jet from Atlanta, Georgia, to LA for the performance at the Soul Food Festival, then appealed to the audience to “have fun and enjoy” themselves.
