A company secretary has been jailed after spending £100,000 in expenses on designer handbags and sports cars.

Yasmin Disney, 25, sent fake emails to authorise payments while working as a PA to an army major.

She bought an Audi TT, went on luxury holidays and spent some of the cash on jewellery.

She was caught out when accountants noticed an ‘unusual spike’ of £85,000 in claims in just four days.

Disney, from Hookwood, Surrey, was ordered to to sell the items to recoup some of the money, but a court heard she refused to get rid of her hairdryer, a mobile phone and an iPad mini.

But now she’s been jailed at Guildford Crown Court for 22 months.
