Mum throws champagne bash to celebrate her divorce (Photos)

Instead of sobbing on the sofa with a box of tissues, a mother has marked the end of her five-month marriage to her husband by throwing herself a divorce party.

26-year-old Charlie Penna, separated from ex-partner, Lee Ferry, 32, after she confronted him over suspicions he had been cheating.

On what would have been their first anniversary she donned a t-shirt that read ‘I ain’t no wifey’ and toasted the end of her marriage with her friends while surrounded by ‘just divorced balloons’.
