The Florida mother who unwittingly starred in rapper 50 Cent’s infamous sex tape testified Tuesday that an ex-con from New Jersey snagged her heart while speaking on his cell as he was applying tattoos.
“From the moment I met him, we were on the phone all day. He was the first person I spoke to when I woke up and the last person I spoke to when I went to sleep,” Lastonia Leviston told a jury in Manhattan Supreme Court where she is suing Curtis Jackson for putting the sex tape on the internet without her permission.
Leviston said that she and the tattoo artist, Maurice Murray, made the tape in June 2008 on their third date.
She testified Monday that Murray wanted the tape so he could hear and see her while they lived in separate states.
However, she said, he promised to give it to her if she ever asked and although she repeatedly asked for it from the summer of 2008 through the winter of 2009, he refused.
In February 2009, Murray gave or sold the tape to Jackson, who imposed his alter ego, “Pimpin’ Curly,” on it and narrated the tape in a way that taunted rapper Rick Ross who was Jackson’s rival and the father of Leviston’s younger daughter.
