Drop your influence for Nigeria’s sake, Buhari begs APC

President Muhammadu ‎Buhari has appealed to members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to drop their differences and influences both in the party and the country, in order for the party to achieve its campaigns manifestos of addressing security, economy, employment and corruption, reiterating, “if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria.”

This is even as the leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu rubbished the remarks coming from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other Nigerians that the Buhari administration was too slow, saying the government could not clean the 16-year ‎mess of the PDP in 30 days.

‎President Buhari, ‎who hosted the party leadership to Ramadan fast at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, went down memory lane of how the party surmounted many obstacles to dislodge the PDP, urging that it was important for the members to lay aside their differences and unite for the sake of the country.
