
President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to drop their differences and influences both in the party and the country, in order for the party to achieve its campaigns manifestos of addressing security, economy, employment and corruption, reiterating, “if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria.”
This is even as the leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu rubbished the remarks coming from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other Nigerians that the Buhari administration was too slow, saying the government could not clean the 16-year mess of the PDP in 30 days.
President Buhari, who hosted the party leadership to Ramadan fast at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, went down memory lane of how the party surmounted many obstacles to dislodge the PDP, urging that it was important for the members to lay aside their differences and unite for the sake of the country.
Buhari, who commended Tinubu for his support and words of encouragement, said it was important to reflect on their journey in order for them to appreciate how lucky they were as members of a political group…
