After more than 24 hours of siege, the Presidency has ordered the withdrawal of the State Security Service (SSS) personnel from the Abuja home of the immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
This was however effected after they seized his International Passports and other vital documents.
Even though there is no more restriction of his movement, Dasuki still feels aggrieved that he was deprived of going to the Eid prayers and celebration of Friday.
He has also vowed to challenge what he described as the unconstitutional action by the Federal Government and plans to seek legal redress in order to enforce his fundamental human rights.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that after instituting and effecting all the legal procedures, Dasuki has been able to effect the return of all the cash for arms deal seized by South Africa under President Goodluck Jonathan.
