A desperate family have been forced to spend a month taking it in turns sleeping in their car with their dogs after the pooches were evicted from their home.
Paula Miller, her son and brother have moved their six dogs into their Ford Focus which is parked outside their home after Havering Council banned the animals from the home.
Numerous neighbours had complained about constant barking from Jack Russell Bruce, German shepherd Rain, terrier Rex and the three chihuhuas Chuckie, Ding Dong and Bam Bam, leaving the council little option other than to force the animals out of the home.
Instead of moving with the dogs, Paula, 68, and her son Gary, 50 and brother Gary Edwards, 55, decided to set-up camp in the ageing motor.
The animals have been forced to stay in the cramped car as scorching temperatures have rocketed this month.
