Woman avoids jail sentence by getting pregnant 13 times in ten years

A woman managed to escape jail time by getting pregnant 13 times in ten years.

The woman, only known by her surname Zeng, was sentenced to life in prison for corruption China’s Xinjiang Autonomous region.

The court sentenced her back in October 2005, but let her out on probation as she was pregnant, People’s Daily Online reported.

She hatched the plan as soon as she knew the court let her walk.

Recently, the Municipal Bureau of Justice resubmitted the suggestion to put her behind bars, and it was granted.

The 39-year-old claimed she went through 14 pregnancies, one of which was false.

It is not known if she gave birth to any child.
