A sick mother made two young girls perform oral sex on her.

Ashley Ragusa has been jailed for nine years for the vile sex abuse described by police as “almost like a horror movie”.

The 32-year-old was charged with three counts of gross sexual imposition for incidents with two young girls between January, 2012, and December 24, 2013.

Ragusa, from Toledo, Ohio, entered what are called Alford pleas where no admission of guilt is stated.

Prosecutors said she forced the girls to perform oral sex on her, according to local newspaper the Toledo Blade.

“There were acts that were perpetrated on these children that in my mind are unconscionable,” Judge Myron Duhart, of Lucas County Common Pleas Court, told her.

Hearing the stormy atmosphere at the home, the judge added: “Those actions and those conditions on those children are horrific

“I don’t think there is a sentence I could give you that would right those wrongs. I’m not sure it’s in my power to dispense any justice commensurate with what those children suffered.”

Ragusa said her life began spiralling out of control five years ago, after her father’s death and the deterioration of her marriage. Then came depression and drug use.

“I look back and I am ashamed. I don’t even recognise that person,” she said, adding that she is thankful for the year she has been locked up in the Lucas County jail.

“Not only am I sober, I’ve had time to reflect on my life, how it was, who I was, what I want, and what I need to do to change it,” Ragusa said.

The judge noted that Ragusa had no prior criminal history but also found that she had shown no genuine remorse.

Judge Duhart classified Ragusa as a child victim sex offender who must register her address with the sheriff in the county where she lives and works every 90 days for the rest of her life.
