Nigerian Celebrities usually move around with bodyguards. Many of them even have men of the Nigeria Police Force on their entourage to protect them from overzealous fans and unruly touts.
But one personality in the entertainment industry that has arguably the most elaborate security detail is Five Star Music chairman and Kcee’s younger brother, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money.
According to Vanguard, E-money’s security men will make even the president go green with envy. Apart from the heavily-armed policemen usually with him, he also has some plain clothes security operatives following him all around with walkies-talkies and high-tech earpieces.
The record label boss was at an event recently, and his security details dominated the discussion of guests.
‘I’ve never see any Nigerian entertainer with this much security before,’ a guest said to his friend. Even as the friend concurred, ‘That’s true; even the president’s security men don’t have more gadgets than this.’
