Singer Christina Milian is back on the market after one year with Lil Wayne

Christina Milian is back on the market after splitting with boyfriend, rapper Lil Wayne, according to the PEOPLE.

“She’s in New York right now for Fashion Week, having fun and leaning on her girlfriends,” a source close to Milian tells PEOPLE.

The pair had been dating for almost a year prior to the split. A rep for Milian has not responded to a request for comment.

Rumors of their romance began July last year and Milian, 33, eventually confirmed their relationship in May.

“There’s nothing better than that feeling of that new chemistry, when you’re so into someone you really could care less about what anybody else has to think” Milian told Entertainment Tonight about her relationship with the 32-year-old rapper.

The singer and reality star is mother to 5-year-old Violet Madison from her former marriage to rapper-producer The-Dream. The couple married in September of 2009 before quickly divorcing after 10 months.
