Kendall Jenner stunned fans Sept. 16 when she appeared on a red carpet in a revealing white gown with what appeared to be a ring through her left nipple. Now she’s opening up about why she got the controversial piercing.
“It is true,” Kendall confirmed to Page Six regarding her wild new nipple hardware. The Estee Lauder model revealed during a launch party for one of the brand’s fragrances that “I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let’s just do it.’”
But it looks like a really painful way to deal with a rough patch in life. “[I was] so terrified, I’m laying on the bed like ‘Why am I doing this,’” she continued. “Honestly, it hurt, but wasn’t as bad as everyone made it seem and maybe because everyone hyped it up and I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn’t as bad as I expected.”
