Lamar Odom Discharged From Las Vegas Hospital ; Heading For LA

The road to a full recovery will be a long one for Lamar Odom, 35, but he took a major step forward on Oct. 19 when he was told by his doctors that he is healthy enough to be discharged and moved to Los Angeles, where he can receive further treatment. Khloe Kardashian‘s, 31, ex-husband has made significant progress since he was discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13.

The former NBA player was receiving treatment in Las Vegas’ Sunrise Hospital since the incident at the Love Ranch, a legal brothel. After spending four days in a medically induced coma, Lamar has finally recovered enough that doctors feel he can be discharged, according to E! News.

While he is far from being fully recovered, sources say that he is now talking, moving his arms and legs and breathing on his own without a breathing mask. The move to Los Angeles will bring him closer to his former wife Khloe, who has been making medical decisions for him while he was unconscious.
