A somber-looking President Obama condemned the bloody attacks across Paris Friday, calling them an “outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians.” Obama vowed to aid French officials in any way possible to help bring the terrorists to justice.
“Once again we have seen an outrageous attempt to terrorise innocent civilians,” Obama said from the White House. “This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on the people of France but this is an attack on all of humanity and the values that we share.”
Obama, who was briefed on the attacks by his counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco, said that he had spoken to French president Francois Hollande earlier in the day about the G20 climate change summit scheduled to take place in France later this month.
