Mariah Carey rushed to hospital for emergency treatment

Mariah Carey has been hospitalised in New York after becoming ill in the early hours of Wednesday morning according to reports.

The 45-year-old is said to be suffering from a severe bout of flu and is hooked up to an IV, TMZ have claimed.

The singer was reportedly so dehydrated and ill that her team called for the emergency services after initially complaining about feeling unwell on Tuesday night.

She’s hoping to be back at 100% for her performance this Saturday at HOT 97’s “Hot For The Holidays” concert.
