Christina Milian reveals she had an abusive ex-boyfriend who pointed gun at her

Christina Milian revealed she was involved in an abusive relationship as a teenager and almost died when he pulled a gun on her.

The former Disney princess, who dated the man when she was 17, revealed on Tuesday’s episode of “Christina Milian Turned Up” that he used to wake her up by “stomping and kicking her” and once pointed a pistol to her head.

“One time he played Russian roulette on me,” she said, without revealing his name. “He put one bullet in a gun and pointed it at my face. When you have a gun in your face, all you can think about is your family and people who love you.”

When she would try to leave, he threatened to bomb her mom’s house and made references to his “gang relationships.”

It was Milian’s mother Carmen who finally helped the singer escape the situation. She left the home they shared in Los Angeles, changed her phone number, and moved to New York but even still he “would travel to different countries to find her.”

The “Turned Up” star is currently working with Stop Attack, an app that helps other victims of domestic abuse.

“There are a lot of girls going through this,” she remarked. “It happens way more often than we think. This is your choice to live or die.”

Milian, 34, has a daughter Violet, 5, with her ex-fiancé The Dream.

She has also dated Lil Wayne, Nick Cannon and Jas Prince.
