Celine Dion’s heartbreaking week continued on Saturday as she attended an intimate memorial service for her late brother Daniel — just one day after she laid her husband Réne Angélil to rest.
The 47-year-old singer joined her family in mourning Daniel at the visitation, which was held at a funeral home in Repentigny, Quebec, close to where they grew up.
Dozens of others also attended the service to honor Daniel, who died at 59 last week after suffering from brain, throat and tongue cancer. He will be buried at a church in their hometown of Charlemagne on Monday,according to People.
Daniel died on Jan. 16, just two days after Angélil passed away at the age of 73 following his own lengthy battle with throat cancer.
