Sex with 9ice’s ex-wife : I’m vindicated – Ruggedman

Rapper, Ruggedman, is happy that six years after, 9ice has vindicated him of rumours that he slept with his ex-wife, Tony Payne. Last week Thursday, February 4, Ruggedman issued an open letter on the drama that tore him and 9ice apart.

In the letter, Ruggedman said: “In 2010, 9ice released a song entitled Once Bitten Twice Shy that made a lot of people drag me into a terrible and false rumour that was fuelled by Journalist and bloggers who did not care to investigate.

“I remember pleading my innocence and that of Toni Payne but social media chose not to listen. I remember asking 9ice to publicly clear the air but was shocked when my friend said he would not because he was busy and didn’t have time for such.”
Ruggedman says that six years later, he is surprised that 9ice has finally cleared the air: “He has finally come out to say I never slept with his wife and the song wasn’t about me and even apologised.
“All I can do is smile because I know me better than anybody out there who insulted me over the matter. I said it then and I say it now; Michael Ugochukwu Stephens will never sleep with His friend’s wife. Families and husband you can now relax your daughter and wives are safe around me hahahaha!!!!”
And he has a message for 9ice: “Bro, you left it a bit too late. You had your chance to clear this matter up six years ago when it really mattered but you didn’t. I did my best to clear my name without you and I have moved on. Anyway, I accept your apology and thank God we are all alive.”
