They’re the experts! Kendall and Kylie Jenner boast a combined total of almost 100 million followers on Instagram, and there’s a reason for their popularity. The reality stars and social media savants have mastered, among other things, the art of the selfie. “It’s all about the lighting!” the Jenner girls told Us Magazine at the launch of their Kendall + Kylie collection at a Tribeca Penthouse Loft Space in NYC on February 8.
“You have to know your angles,” Kendall, 20, added. “I think there’s one particular angle that’s flattering to everyone, and you have to know your face and work that. I don’t look good from every angle, so I make sure I use my best one. And of course, practice in the mirror.”
Kylie has a few different tricks up her sleeve. “It’s really just how I edit them, that’s the real trick,” she dished. The 18-year-old also let Us Mag. in on how she sets up the perfect picture for her 50 million followers. “I feel like people want to see my whole outfit, so I’ll have my friends just take full body pictures of me in my backyard and then you have to edit them! Don’t go to crazy [with editing], but it’s important,” she advised.
