Nigerian Dancer Esther Völk, was the highlight of the day. After she performed African contemporary dance, in an interview with Diamond Celebrities said, “she uses her dancing to express liberty of African women who are being subdue because of their culture. The dance also expresses their strength, power and capacity to achieve their goals”, she assumed.
Beffta award-winning artist, Vivian Timothy also displayed her artwork which earned great recognition. Augsburg Major also recommended her for her perfect work and ability to bring African culture to life through her paintings.
Singers, instrumentalist, poet and more, made it a night to remember.
Stephan Holstein, Njamy Sitson, Walkter Bittner, Ala and Yasar, Moritz Gruber (Poetry Slam) presented “Morden Man”, Sandro Roy, winner of Music Battle der Kültürtage 2015 Klavier/ Vokal, Daniel Söll,Geeta Abad, Mehmet Ali Yücel, and Assia Chappot.
The group Je Suis Julie, Julia Kratzer, Girisha Fernando, Silvan Lackerschmid, Kilian Bühler, Geeta Abed, Mehmet Ali Yücel and Assia Chappot, made a huge statement with their songs.
In an interview with Diamond Celebrities, Je Suis Julie said, “the evening was a success, and they enjoyed every bit of it.”
Bringing it home was the Schwäbische /Franzosamusik , Theresia Blome, Veronika Ihm, Eva Horner, and Christoph Lambertz.
Horst Thieme hosted the event with a class.
