Happy Easter; The foundation of our Hope!

Christ’s resurrection has completed his mission for us, and set us on the right path to God. The ball is now in our court, to make use of this great sacrifice or make mockery of it. Easter is the foundation of our Hope. It is the foundation upon which we build all our values.

Easter continues our call to conversion. It is our call to goodness. The Easter proclamation declares: “Jesus Christ our King is risen!” With him rose all our hope. With him rose our desire to carry on despite all the distractions and disappointments and doubt which may encircle us in the course of any given day.

Christ came and died because of the love he has for us. So we can try to be like him by exhibiting this same love among ourselves, when we love and see each other as brothers and sisters. With love, there is no space for evil and sin…Christ is love and love is God. It is never too late to change!

Since Christ has defeated death, hence there is no sickness, problems, challenges etc, he cannot defeat in our lives.

May the newness of life which Easter announces come to abide in our hearts.
