Two women have been charged with using sex toys in the presence of young children.

Jacqueline Naomi Horton, 47, and Emma Louise Kent, 29, allegedly abused two girls, aged seven and nine at an address in New Brighton, Merseyside.

Horton, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’court yesterday facing two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Kent faces four charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and three charges of sexual assault against the same victims.

Kent, who is a serving prisoner at HMP Low Newton, was due to appear via video link but technical problems meant the case was adjourned.
