Beyonce calls out Jay Z’s ‘cheating’ in Lemonade

Beyonce dropped her full-length visual extravaganza of a sixth studio album, Lemonade, on HBO to the world Saturday night, and apart from strong themes of Black Girl Magic and Black Lives Matter, listeners were keen to point out what seemed to be a confirmation of her husband Jay Z’s cheating.

‘We all remember what happened at the 2014 Met Gala after party, right? Solange Knowles was taped physically lashing out against her brother-in-law, which fueled speculation that Jay had ‘cheated’ on Bey’.

A few songs, including Pray You Catch Me and Don’t Hurt Yourself, allude to infidelity during their 12-year long relationship.

In the video for Hold Up, Beyonce walks down the street smashing everything in sight with a baseball bat until she drives a monster truck over a row of cars.

In her track Sorry, she sings, ‘He only want me when I’m not there…he better call Becky with the good hair.’ And in Intuition, we hear her sing, ‘In the tradition of men in my blood, you come home at 3am and lie to me. What are you hiding?’

Needless to say, people  have been freaking out over the speculation.
