‘Sometimes love has to be materialistic’ – Yemi Alade reveals

The crooner while there visited Tim Westwood’s Crib Studiosand talks to him about everything from her new album ‘Mama Africa‘ to her hit single ‘Ferrari’, her tour, favourite food and Queen Latifah as an inspiration and more.

When asked about the motivation behind ‘Ferrari’, the crooner revealed she sang the song because sometimes, love has to be materialistic.

There comes a time in a female’s life when you’re like “Do you know what…” Sometimes love has to be materialistic. Do you know what at least let me have something to show from this relationship,” she said.

She is currently in London promoting her new album ‘Mama Africa‘.
