Nollywood actress, wife of Jide Kosoko, dies after celebrating her 53rd birthday (Details)

The wife of Jide Kosoko, who is also a Nollywood actress, Henrietta Kosoko reportedly died yesterday morning after she slumped at their home and was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.

Sources close to her family said that  before her demise, she battled diabetes for a while, causing her sugar level to flunctuate. Henrietta who trained as a caterer before delving into acting celebrated her 53rd  birthday last week.
She came into the limelight in 1995 after starring in movie titled, ‘Omolade’ as well as an English one named ‘Onome’. She was a  fantastic Yoruba and English actress of many years.

Reacting to her death, ANTP president, Comrade Victor Ashaolu described Henrietta’s demise as “a big blow to us in ANTP,  and the film industry.”
