Tyga claims Kylie Jenner relationship “overshadowed” his career

After finally admitting he was dating teen reality star Kylie Jenner, rapper Tyga was welcomed into the Kardashian family and even starred on their TV show, but now they’ve broken up and he claims that their romance got in the way of his talent.

Two months after the couple went their separate ways, Tyga revealed that he was “enjoying life” now that he’s split from Kylie.

Speaking in a radio interview with Big Boy TV, the Rack City hitmaker opened up about their split.

“I’m single. I’m enjoying life,” the father-of-one said, shooting down rumours that he was hooking up with model Demi Rose.

It didn’t take long for the Barbershop: The Next Cut star to open up about his split from 18-year-old Carl.

“Being in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently,” he said. “It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things I worked hard for.”

Both of the stars have since been linked to other partners, with cosmetics entrepreneur Kylie getting close to PartyNextDoor.
